Research exists so the desk is not a black box. You can review how a strategy responds to trend, range, and quiet conditions, and decide whether that behaviour matches the duration you intend to activate. A tactical 3-day seat and a monthly seat are not the same job.
Historical simulation is a lens, not a contract. Past bars do not include every future spread, gap, or news shock. Treat a strong run as a reason to look closer, not as evidence that the next window will repeat it. The live engine can still skip, block, or lose.
When you are ready, activate a bot under a paid plan and connect a live MT5 login. Equity stays in your brokerage account. The desk does not hold the keys, and a research result never becomes an order by itself.
